Six Generations
This single origin roast from Chiapas Mexico is named to honor it’s famers, who have been producing the highest quality coffee for six generations. Obata is a new varietal grown in their Paris lot on the Peru Paris Estate, it was originally developed in Brazil, but has now become common in Costa Rica and Mexico as it is a rust-resistant plant with a high yielding cup, which is ideal for farmers. In the cup, it brings together all the flavors of a rocky road sundae or a perfectly roasted s’mores; dark chocolate, nougat, and toast, and it finished with sweet toasted almond and black tea. We have found Six Generations to be a perfect roast for Cold Brew, as well as a nice daily drinker on drip, and a consistent and smooth espresso.
